Teriyaki Protein Bowls

A healthy and satisfying bowl made with glazed chicken breast chunks, whole grains, and fresh vegetables for a balanced meal.
INGREDIENTS
- Best Tasting Snacks – Chicken Breast Chunks 250g
- Brown rice or quinoa (cooked) 450g (3 cups)
- Carrots (fine-julienned) 90g
- Red cabbage (shredded) 75g
- Green cabbage (shredded) 75g
- Soy sauce 45g
- Natural honey 45g
- Cooking oil 30g (2 tbsp.)
- Sesame seeds (toasted, optional garnish) 2g
- Spring onions (chopped, optional garnish) 3g
Procedure
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and honey until well combined. Set aside. Prepare the cooked brown rice or quinoa.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the MET Food Chicken Breast Chunks for 3–4 minutes until lightly browned.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce into the pan and toss the chicken until evenly coated. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Arrange the cooked rice or quinoa in a serving bowl. Add the carrots, red cabbage, and green cabbage on the side.
- Top with the glazed chicken, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions before serving.
